The Scott Resort & Spa
With summer months approaching and temperatures rising, I think we all can agree we need a summer getaway. If we aren't able to escape the heat, (especially in Arizona) the summer months give us a reason to lounge by a pool with a tasty cold drink (and LOTS of sun protection of course). I say, if you can get to a pool or stay in an air-conditioned building you can survive the AZ summers. If you're looking for a lush, desert oasis, Leo and I have just the place for you!
Leo and I recently stayed at the Scott Resort & Spa in Scottsdale Arizona for our 1 year anniversary. I became obsessed with this hotel when we toured it while my cousin was visiting. Leo knew I was itching to do a stay-cation here, so he surprised me for our anniversary and boy was it a treat! If you haven't visited The Scott Resort & Spa (formerly Firesky Resort) I'm telling you, stop what you're doing and book your trip NOW! I will note they're in the process of remodeling, and have everything completed except for the rooms. Every inch of their resort has a bohemian jungalow vibe with a cuban twist. When you take your first step into the lobby you will notice their attention to detail. If you love interior design like me, you will be AMAZED! I won't say too much more because I think the photos will show how adorable this place was. Now it isn't just about how cute this place is. Leo and I genuinely had an amazing time making memories here celebrating our one year. We soaked up the sun during the day and snuggled up by their fire pits at night.
Enjoy our photo album from our mini-stay cation!
They give you these adorable passbooks and post card with your room key when checking in! The design is adorable and is super cohesive with the vibes they've got going on!
As you can see, we couldn't stop snapping photos in the lobby. They have so many spots you can hang indoors if you need a break from the pool or your room.
I could not wait to get in that pool!
Leo was even able to bust out our film camera during this trip. It made me think of my dad and how he enjoyed taking photos of my mama on his film camera. I had to share these two images my dad took of my mom. Isn't she a babe?! Following these are Some pool images Leo shot on our film camera using Portra 400.

I think I lost count on how many peaceful hangout spots there are. This swing was one of my faves!
There was a wedding the night before and they had these beautiful floral arrangements. Made for some fun photo ops ;)
You almost feel like you're not in the heart of Scottsdale while in this resort!
It truly is so beautiful you could get married in it. ;)
Check out these adorable cabanas. I no joke need one in my back yard at home!
We can't forget the coffee and food. This Cuban style restaurant was super tasty and such a cute name, The Canal Club. I'd join their club any day. This was my favorite space on site. I was obsessed with the decor (especially the wallpaper).
I didn't want to say good bye.
So this isn't goodbye, this is see you soon!
Until next time Scott!
